Mark Wahlberg bought his kids a dog and they thought Kim Kardashian was coming over: ‘I just said..’

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, actor Mark Wahlberg shared a confusing but hilarious story about his kids. He shared an anecdote about how his kids confused Kim Kardashian for someone, and that someone was not even a human being. The actor admitted that he had no idea where the correlation came from, but it still happened.

After playing a game of Password with Kim and Mark, Jimmy asked the latter if he knew her from before. He also urged him to tell that “one story which is about Kim, but not about her.” Mark shrugged his shoulders and said, “Yes, I have known Kim and the entire family for a while now, and the story has nothing to do with Kim. So, I finally gave in and decided that I was going to get my family, especially the kids, a dog. I didn’t tell my wife or anyone else, but I saw this tiny dog in Beverly Hills. The man was just holding him with one hand, and I thought that it looked like a very manageable pet to have. I asked if that was the biggest that dog will get; the man said yes. So I found one of the dogs and decided to surprise them with it, but they got confused.”

He continued, “I wanted to prepare them for the surprise, so I told them, ‘Somebody really important is coming today.’ So immediately they go over to my wife and tell her that Kim Kardashian is coming over today. My wife comes barging into this meeting screaming, ‘Our house is a mess; you can’t have them over when it’s like this.’ I am like, ‘What are you talking about?’ She said, ‘I know who is coming over; the kids told me.’ I said, ‘No, I got a dog.'”

The crowd listening to the story anticipated what was about to come and let out a loud gasp of horror. He said, “Then she gets even more mad because she didn’t get to pick the kind of dog. I tell her about the dog, and she doesn’t want it, so I tell her to say that to the kids when the dog comes over. Cut to, they bring the crate in, the dog wobbles out, and my wife jumps at the dog, and she loves it. So we have 6 dogs now.”
