‘Iron Man’ director Shane Black will reportedly helm the sequel of the hit film ‘Predator’.

The filmmaker will write and direct the reboot of the sci-fi blockbuster, which had Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura, reported Hollywood Reporter.

Black appeared in a minor role in the first 1987 film. Since that film, there have been three Predator-related films, a sequel in 1990, a spin-off in 2010 and two ‘Alien vs. Predator’ films in 2004 and 2007.

John Davis, who produced the original with Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon, is producing the reboot.
