Sofia Vergara, who became a household name in the United States and around the world after playing the role of Gloria in Modern Family, eventually became one of the highest-paid actresses in the country. The actor and businesswoman has bought and sold many homes in Los Angeles, but in an old interview with Vogue, she gave a home tour of her Beverly Park mansion in California, which she transformed into a Mediterranean paradise. Hand-painted ceiling, French art and crystal birds

The house tour begins with Sofia showing her formal dining room, which is embellished with hand-painted ceilings and French art. She bought the house in 2020 and shared how it resembled a worn-down castle in Transylvania, but she and her team of designers and architects converted it into a Mediterranean paradise. The house spans approximately 17,100 square feet and is situated in the exclusive guard-gated Beverly Park community.

The mansion has seven bedrooms and thirteen bathrooms. The two-storey home features multiple sitting areas — a formal living room and a family living room with high ceilings. Guests on the first floor can view the happenings in the living area below. Sofia confessed to collecting crystal birds, which can be seen decorating different corners of the house.

Seven-bedroom and 13-bathroom paradise

Sofia, in the video, shared that all the rooms and living spaces of the house open into a massive backyard. She revealed that she planted trees that remind her of Colombia in her backyard, which also features a large swimming pool. The space includes multiple outdoor sitting areas — from a large dining table for hosting guests to cozy corners with plush seating, where Sofia admitted to spending most of her time.

Gigantic backyard with spa and tennis court

The backyard of the star’s mansion also houses a spa, cabana, and a full-size tennis court, all carefully surrounded by a well-planned garden. The house also features an all-white marble kitchen, equipped with luxurious French cookware whose price can go up to Rs 2 lakh and more.

Colour-coordinated walk-in closet with endless aisles for footwear and bags

Sofia’s walk-in closet, where she admitted to spending most of her time, is the stuff of dreams. It showcases her dresses, bags, shoes, and jewellery — all displayed in a perfectly colour-coordinated manner. The massive closet also features a central table adorned with bowls and other art pieces she has collected from around the world.
