I was scared of everything in my 20s: Reese Witherspoon

Actress Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she was "scared of everything" in her twenties.

Actress Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she was “scared of everything” in her twenties.

While some celebrities hate the idea of ageing, Witherspoon, 39, is thrilled about her advancing years as she feels more comfortable in her own skin, reported Us magazine.

“I’m much more open now. In my twenties, I was scared of everything. I didn’t know what my career was. I didn’t know why people liked my movies. I was wary of interacting with people,” she said.

The Oscar-winning actress said that although three of her biggest films were released during her twenties, she was terrified and unable to enjoy her success.

“I was 25 when Legally Blonde came out, 26 for Sweet Home Alabama, and 29 for Walk the Line. And I was scared, really scared.”
