Dhanashree Verma to receive Rs 4.75 crore in alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal, family court directed to finalise divorce before IPL

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra got married in December 2020. When rumours of their separation started in January 2024, Dhanashree took to her social media and shared a note saying that the stories being shared online were “baseless.” She also alleged that “faceless trolls” were ruining her reputation. “The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact- checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate. I’ve worked hard for years to build my name and integrity,” she wrote and added, “My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others. I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. Around the same time, Chahal also shared a quote by Socrates on his social media that read, “Silence is a profound melody, for those who can hear it above all the noise.” Fans speculated about their marriage after he deleted all of her photos from his social media handles. They also unfollowed each other on Instagram.
