Would love to sing for Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Deepika Padukone: Sarah-Jane Dias
Actress-singer Sarah-Jane Dias wants to do playback singing for Bollywood divas Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

Actress-singer Sarah-Jane Dias wants to do playback singing for Bollywood divas Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
Sarah-Jane, 31, feels her voice will suit the “Mary Kom” star and she would want to lend her vocals for Deepika because she is a huge admirer of her work.
“I would love to do playback for Deepika or Priyanka. Priyanka for sure because she has a heavy and husky voice like mine. Deepika maybe because I like the kind of work Deepika does,” the actress told PTI.
Sarah-Jane, who released her first single “Forgot To Be Me” earlier this year and recently performed at the India Bridal Fashion Week, said she loves being an all rounder.
“I love juggling between recording and acting. I also do live performances. People tell me to concentrate on only one thing and I feel ‘Why should I do that?’ I think I should be doing as many things I want. I manage it well. When I am shooting for a film, I don’t work on music and vice versa.”

While the actress will release her next single in a couple of months from now, she has her plate full with acting assignments.
Her upcoming projects include “Zubaan” opposite “Masaan” star Vicky Kaushal, an international film “The Angry Indian Goddesses” and a short movie.
She plays a singer in “Zubaan” and while the actress has not crooned in the film, she will be performing at the promotional activities of the movie.
“The taglines say, ‘Let music set you free’ or ‘Find yourself through music’. I am kind of a personification of music in the film.
“I will be singing for all the promotional activities of the film. So, all the live singing I will do.”
All praise for her co-star, Sarah-Jane called Vicky a “special” person.
It was amazing working with Vicky. He is a special kind of a person, he is extremely hardworking and very humble and all of that comes on screen.”
The actress impressed the audience with her 20-minute long performance during designer Jyotsna Tiwari’s show at IBFW. Though she was happy with all the adulation that came her way, Sarah-Jane said by the end of her set she was exhausted.
“This is the first time I am doing such a long set. Before this I did one song. It was exhaustive. By the last song, I was like ‘I can’t do it anymore’.”
When asked how nerve wracking is performing live, the actress said, “I do perform on stage on a regular basis and then of course acting and various things. I am always in front of the camera or in front of an audience. I have been doing this for a while but somehow the nerves always kick in but over the years you learn how to control them.
“So, like I got on, took a deep breath, I started to sing and then somewhere in the middle I started to calm down but towards the end, I was nervous again and that is usually what happens. You start off, you are kind of nervous and then you get calm in the middle of your dialogue and when it is ending, you get nervous. That’s my process.”
