Abhishek Bachchan’s insta like for a post on divorce has taken things out of proportion at a time there is already wild chatter online on the separate entry his wife and actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made at the Anant Ambani wedding. But turns out the post wasn’t prompted by any trouble brewing in the family – but something more innocuous.
Recently, Abhishek Bachchan liked a post about divorce, which netizens took it as a sign that the actor and his star wife are probably heading for a divorce. However, now, the real reason behind the actor’s like on the Indian Express article has come to the fore and the author of the piece Heena Khandelwal has also reacted to the issue.
Recently a Reddit user shared the post online and pointed out that the likely reason why Abhishek liked the post is because wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s long time friend Zirat Marker has contributed to the article. Many commented on the Reddit post. A user wrote, “So this divorce post which people took as a confirmation of divorce is him being a supportive partner and therefore may be a confirmation of not being divorced.” Others called it a “crazy plot twist.”

Heena too took to her Instagram handle to share a note that read, “I am not familiar with his personal life, but it seems his single like on the post has been blown out of proportion. While he certainly doesn’t need me to defend him, I feel a bit disheartened that my Instagram story highlighting his like has contributed to this situation.”
She added, “For your information, this post has garnered as many saves and shares as likes. Many people, including those who did not like or comment on the post, have reached out to me to express their appreciation for both the story and its subject matter. This response is quite telling.”
The post in question is a piece on divorce. Heena shared an excerpt of her article on her Instagram handle with a picture that had a text that read: “When love stops being easy.” The post dedicated to the topic of divorce mainly deals with grey divorce aka silver splitters–a term for those seeking marital dissolution after the age of 50.
Talking about Aishwarya’s friend Zirak, he is a prominent psychiatrist for kids and adults. Zirak and Aishwarya have been friends since their time in Jai Hind College in Mumbai. In 2016, Aishwarya even launched his book titled “Parenting in the Age of Anxiety”. Abhishek earlier invited Marik and his family at the film premiere of his movie, Ghoomer.
