When Deepika Padukone opened up about her precious bond with Shah Rukh Khan: ‘That hug, that look is very special’

Deepika shared that her time working with Shah Rukh at the age of 21 was filled with daily doses of wisdom. This valuable lesson serves as a guiding principle for her, especially in the context of making movies. According to her, finding joy in working with people in the film industry is key. Even if a film doesn’t perform well, having a positive work experience is essential. Deepika noted that having a bad experience while making a less successful film can be particularly challenging.

Deepika shared that sometimes, words aren’t needed between certain people. She discussed spending enjoyable moments together, where the person doesn’t have to say much. 

The actor continued, “We’re not in touch every day. I engage with him the most, obviously, when we’re working on a movie. But that hug, that look, is very special. What he and I share, or at least what I share with him, is extremely precious, extremely special. When I’m confused or if I’m stuck, I call him. He’s always there. If he’s going through something in his life. I will meet him somewhere, and I’ll say, ‘I know. I understand.’”

Deepika was last seen in Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan. The film was helmed by Siddharth Anand and also starred Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover among others.
