Internet personality Freddy Birdy recently recounted his meeting actor Anushka Sharma, on Instagram. Amid the buzz around Virat Kohli and Anushka’s affectionate posts following India’s T20 World Cup victory, Freddy recounted his memorable meeting with the actress at her residence in Mumbai, a few years ago.

Freddy recalled visiting Anushka for a magazine interview, describing her as “utterly gorgeous and completely unpretentious.” “She was beautiful. But even more than beautiful, she was funny, normal and utterly relaxed and talkative in the nicest way,” he recalled.

At the time, speculations were rife that Anushka was dating Virat, so he decided to address the topic during their conversation. Anushka brushed off the question, pretending to know nothing about it. However, Freddy revealed, “But then a couple of minutes later her mobile phone rang, and in the utter silence of the room I could hear the person at the other end flirting in the nicest way and making dinner plans with her and I could tell that it was Virat Kohli.” Anushka responded to this anecdote with heart and hug emojis in the comments of his post.

Celebrating her husband’s victory at the recently concluded T20 World Cup, Anushka wrote, “AND….. I love this man @virat.kohli. So grateful to call you my home – now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this!” Virat also acknowledged Anushka’s support, writing, “None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded, and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn’t be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it’s mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU @anushkasharma.”
