Actor Anushka Sharma recently turned 37, and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, shared his love and appreciation on social media with a heartfelt message and a picture.

Sharing a photo, Virat wrote, “To my best friend, my life partner, my safe space, my best half , my everything. You’re the guiding light of all of our lives. We love you so much more every day. Happy birthday, my love.” In the photo, the couple is seen posing against a serene backdrop.

In a recent interview with Filmfare, Anushka Sharma opened up about her relationship with Virat Kohli. She said, “I’m married to my best friend. I’m married to my confidant. I’m married to someone I love so dearly just because of the human being that he is. When we’re together, the world ceases to exist.”

Anushka and Virat, who tied the knot in December 2017, are parents to Vamika and Akaay. The couple has been fiercely protective of their children and even bought property in London to shield them from the constant media glare. Actor Madhuri Dixit’s husband Dr Nene recently talked about the couple’s decision to move away. “I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn: they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). And we appreciate what they go through, because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated.”
