Actor Vikrant Massey’s performance in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail has garnered love and acclaim from the who’s who of Bollywood and audiences alike. In an interview with Unfiltered by Samdish, Samdish Bhatia asked Vikrant, “Can you be a sh**y person in life and be a great actor?” Vikrant said, “There are many people.” When Samdish stressed on the word ‘sh**y’, Vikrant said, “They are adored, they are loved, they are so called aspirational. But you have to give it to them for being successful.”
Vikrant Massey was then asked about cosmetic surgery and he said, “A lot of people have done it.” The actor said that there is nothing wrong with doing cosmetic surgeries and said, “There is no problem with it. He said, “There is a sense of pretense.” When Samdish Bhatia asked if it was ‘among technicians,’ Vikrant said, “No, creative artistes.” He added, “You pretend to do something just because it is working.”
Inspired by Anurag Pathak’s book, Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail shows the struggles of many students aiming to crack UPSC. It tells the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from poverty to become an IPS officer.
