WATCH LIVE: Vidya Balan-Pratik Gandhi kickstart The Indian Express Expresso series

Actors Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi will be the first guest of The Indian Express' new six-part series, Expresso.


It is time to spin it; turn the mundane exciting and the regular extraordinary as The Indian Express gears to launch its new specially curated six-part series ‘Expresso’, which is set to begin with actors Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi featuring as the first guest. The actors will be seen together in their latest film Do Aur Do Pyaar.

The three key stakeholders, The Indian Express group, HSBC and Taj Hotels have come together to build a unique platform- The Indian Express ‘Expresso’ with an aim to create content that is eclectic, intimate, intelligent and fun with personalities from sphere of art, culture and entertainment.

The series of moderated informal and candid conversations will feature an interesting mix of audience, which includes celebrated dignitaries as well as influencers.

Expresso will be a live event of 60-90 minutes, which would also feature an open audience Q&A. The debut event of the series will feature Vidya and Pratik and will be held at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai. The two stars will engage in a deep conversation about their life, career, marriage, and all things love in front of an audience of more than 100 guests.

Do Aur Do Pyaar marks the first on-screen pairing of Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi. The film, about a married couple who re-discover their relationship after cheating on each other, is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta and produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, Swati Iyer Chawla.

Do Aur Do Pyaar also stars and Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. This will be Vidya Balan’s first theatrical release since her 2019 release Mission Mangal, while Pratik Gandhi–best known for his Scam 19992– was last seen on the big screen in the Kunal Kemmu directed comedy Madgaon Express.
