Vicky, Shyam Kaushal got emotional after shooting for ‘Zubaan’

“This film has action sequences, and fortunately my father has choreographed it. I wouldn’t forget the evening when I got the opportunity to work with my father, it was always my dream to do it. It was very special but professional. But as soon as the sequence got over, we both got very emotional, that we finally shot together as an actor-director duo.”

“So it was very special and I thank ‘Zubaan’ to have given me this opportunity,” said Vicky at a Mumbai college where he spoke about how college festivals brought back memories of his college days, which were very pure and energetic for him.

Film’s lead actress Sarah-Jane Dias performed to songs from the film along with the ‘Zubaan’ band.

Shyam Kaushal has been working in the industry as an action director for two decades now. He recently won the Filmfare award for Best Action in the successful film, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and had also won it for ‘Gunday’.

Vicky plays an ambitious character in ‘Zubaan’, switching between the corporate life and his passion for music.

About one of the lines of the film which says that he wants to achieve everything, he replied, that goes with the story, it is not Vicky Kaushal’s, it’s the character Dilsher who’s saying those lines.”

“I think every person in this world is always hungry and Vicky Kaushal, too, will always be hungry.”

He also added sacrifice is a part of life, and there is no fun without it.

‘Zubaan’ directed by Mozez Singh is releasing on March 4.
