Vicky Kaushal learns Telugu from Rashmika Mandanna as he makes a ‘kirrak’ speech for Chhaava: ‘Andariki namaskaaram’. Watch
With a couple of weeks left for Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited historical, Chhaava, the team reached Hyderabad to launch the first single, Jaane Tu.

If a film has to be pan-Indian, it isn’t enough that the film releases across the country in multiple languages. Now, the stars have to go on promotional overdrives to ensure everyone is made aware of the film’s release, and if they can be earnest in their appeal, then it just makes things better. With a couple of weeks left for Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited historical, Chhaava, the team reached Hyderabad to launch the first single, Jaane Tu. In a now-viral video, we can see Vicky speaking in Telugu, and winning the hearts of the Hyderabad audience.
Seated next to Rashmika, who is on a career-high after the blockbuster success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, Vicky learnt a few lines of Telugu from her, and addressed the crowd. Vicky said, “Andariki namaskaaram. Andaru bagunnara. Hyderabad ki Raavandam chaala santosham ga undi (Hello, everyone. How are you all doing? I’m happy to come to Hyderabad and be with you all).” And the best part? Explaining how he felt being in Hyderabad, Vicky said ‘Zabardast’ and went on to use the Telugu word ‘Kirrak’ to encapsulate his emotions.
