Twitterati reach out to Salman Khan before hit-and-run verdict

Salman Khan received an outpouring of support from his beloved fans on Twitter.

Salman Khan Salman Khan is being tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan was convicted today in the 2002 hit-and-run case. Pronouncing the judgment, the court said he was driving the car and all charges against him have been proven. The actor has been sentenced to five years in jail.

Prior to the conviction, Salman Khan received an outpouring of support from his beloved fans on social networking site, Twitter. The hashtag ‘We Love You Salman Khan’ was trending earlier.

However, there were some who did not quite agree and believed that Salman Khan should be punished if found guilty.
