Twinkle Khanna has a saucy reaction to watching cricket with Akshay Kumar: ’22 men chasing a ball to prove they have two’

Bollywood’s power couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna attended the Test cricket match between India and England at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London recently. While fan pages had already shared pictures of them on social media, Twinkle took to Instagram on Tuesday and posted a characteristically humorous caption about her experience. In one picture, Twinkle and Akshay were captured in a candid moment where Akshay enjoyed a cup of coffee while Twinkle feasted on an ice cream. Another picture showed the cricket ground flooded with fans in the stands, and the final one had Akshay and Twinkle sitting in the stadium, enjoying the game with a smile.

Twinkle wrote, “A quick breakfast and a long day of cricket-my first time watching 22 men chase one ball to prove they each have two. Cricket truly is a religion, and who knows… I might just become its newest devotee. I actually enjoyed all the wickets, runs, and nonstop excitement.”

In the pictures, Akshay looked dapper in a beige casual suit set which he paired with a white T-shirt, while Twinkle Khanna wore a pink shirt and light-coloured pants.

Reacting to the photos, a fan wrote, “Trust you to show up at a Test match when the world and its influencer cousin is at the Wimbledon,” while another added, “Woah the caption in your way Mrs. Funnybones ❤️ @twinklerkhanna mam ❤️❤️❤️.” Akshay and Twinkle were also seen seated next to former India Head Coach Ravi Shastri. Saif Ali Khan was seen at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium to watch the match along with Akshay.

Akshay and Saif are reuniting after 17 years for Priyadarshan’s upcoming thriller, Haiwaan. The director made the announcement via Instagram, sharing a candid photo of the duo enjoying the India vs. England Test match at Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London.

Akshay and Saif shared the screen in the 2008 film Tashan. This new film Haiwaan is are set to begin filming this August, with a 2026 release. The film is reportedly a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam film Oppam, which originally starred Mohanlal. And reports also have it that Akshay might play the villain in the film.
