Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna share a lovable and fun relationship so when Akshay was recently asked if she gets critical about his work, the actor did not hold back from telling the truth. Since Ajay Devgn was also present in the same conversation, the actor shared that his wife Kajol too always tells the truth about his work, along with his kids Nysa and Yug.

Akshay Kumar shared with Hindustan Times, “I don’t take my wife for screenings so I have to sit with her and show her the film. And it falls in my ears, ‘sh*t scene hai, yeh bekaar hai.’ She will say it is very bad, the climax is very long, and the remarks keep on coming. The first time I took her for my trial, the producer came and asked how she found the film, she called it bakwas (terrible). That producer never worked with me again.”

He also added, “But I envy her for speaking her mind. Whenever she likes something, she praises it. She was very happy with Khel Khel Mein, even though it didn’t work, it was a hit film in my heart.”

Ajay Devgn said that he gets similar reactions from his family. He said, “Kajol and the children are also similar. With the newer generation, we upgrade ourselves, and we know the mindset, so we learn what is working. Where they have to criticise they do it, and thank god there is an invention called Airpods, after a point you can wear them and they can keep speaking.” When asked if Nysa lectures him over Gen-Z lingo, the actor shared both his kids do that.

At the summit, the actors also spoke of films clashing at the box office, lack of unity in Bollywood, and much more.
