Swara Bhasker re-posts tweet slamming Alia Bhatt for supporting Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav

A heated 2021 exchange between Swara Bhasker and Elvish Yadav was highlighted by a Twitter user, in the wake of Alia Bhatt seemingly voicing support for him.

Actor Swara Bhasker re-posted a tweet slamming actor Alia Bhatt for supporting Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav. While Swara didn’t add any comment to the social media post, she indirectly joined the contingent calling Alia out for her appreciative recent message for Elvish, who has previously shared hate speech against Swara, among many other controversial online sentiments.

Swara and Elvish had a heated exchange of words in 2021, when he had used disrespectful words towards the actor. Earlier this month, he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, which also featured Alia’s half-sister Pooja Bhatt.

A Twitter user condemned Alia for supporting Elvish in a recent Instagram story, and posted screengrabs of the old argument between Swara and Elvish. The Twitter user wrote, “Hello @aliaa08,This is Elvish Yadav, the person you’re showering praise upon. Take a good look at his utterly reprehensible attitude towards women, how he is shamelessly engages in $’exual h@rassm€nt directed at @ReallySwara. What a downgrade for an actress like you.”

Swara reposted the tweet, giving silent support to the Twitter user. The whole argument against Alia started when she was asked in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, “Elvish Yadav ke baare mein kuch ho jaye (Say something about Elvish Yadav).” Alia responded with a shoutout to the reality show winner by quoting one of his catchphrases, and wrote, “Systummm”. Elvish reposted Alia’s shoutout and wrote, “I LOVE U,” adding three heart emoticons.
