Sudha Murthy says Shah Rukh Khan is taking Dilip Kumar’s place

She added, “When I saw Veera-Zara, I told my daughter that if Dilip Kumar was young, then he would have done Veer-Zaara and now Shah Rukh Khan is taking his place. Only he can do it.”

“When i was young, my hero was Dilip Kumar. He was simply laajawab. Next to him, another actor who can act with that kind of emotion is #ShahRukhKhan. When i saw Veer Zaara, i told my daughter- if Dilip Kumar would have been young, he’d have done Veer Zaara!”

Sudha Murthy also revealed a hilarious anecdote about the time when she was flying business class. She said, “Chaar paanch saal pehle main salwar kameez pehni thi aur business class ka ticket tha mere paas. Main us queue mein khadi thi, toh unko laga ki salwaar kameez pehen liya toh didi hai, behenji hai… ‘Arre cattle-class log hai. Unko kya pata hai economy ke logon ko business class mein aane diya.’ Main jaake unko puch liya, ki what is cattle-class (Four-five years ago, I had worn a salwar suit and I had a business class ticket. I was in the queue, getting ready for my flight, when a few people made assumptions about my ‘class’ and went on to address me as ‘cattle class’. I went up to them and asked what they meant by cattle-class person).”
