Stree 2 song Aaj Ki Raat: Director Amar Kaushik makes a cameo in Tamannaah Bhatia’s dance number. Watch

On Wednesday, the makers of Stree 2 unveiled the first song of the film titled Aaj Ki Raat. The song features Tamannaah Bhatia in a special appearance.

The makers of Stree 2 have unveiled the film’s first song Aaj Ki Raat. The electrifying dance track features Tamannaah Bhatia in a special appearance. In the video song, Tamannaah can be seen setting the stage on fire with her dance moves. Dressed in a stunning green outfit, the actress can be seen captivating the people of Chanderi. While fans were excited to see Tamannaah, many even pointed out the cameo by film’s director Amar Kaushik.

The director can be seen joining Tamannaah Bhatia and rest of the film’s cast including Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi. Aaj Ki Raat sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, Divya Kumar, and Sachin-Jigar is composed by Sachin-Jigar. The lyrics of the song are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Soon after the makers dropped the song on YouTube, fans flooded the video’s comments section with praise. One of them wrote, “Wow unexpected…Gazal pe dance.” Another user wrote, “Something New ️ Something Fresh Aaj Ki Raat.” Other comments read, “Madhubanti’s classical voice is enough for me️.. I have no need to see Tamanna”, and “Who noticed the director amar Kaushik”. Others simply predicted that Stree 2 is going to be a blockbuster hit.

Stree 2 is the official sequel to the 2018 film Stree, which was based on a folk legend. Stree 2 is the continuation of the same story. The Amar Kaushik-directorial film will reunite the original cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.

The film is being co-produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, Sharada Karki Jalota and Pooja Prem Patheja. The film is all set to hit the big screen on August 15.
