Step inside Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s dream bungalow with 7 rooms, a personal gym, and an in-house theatre
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who moved into a new bungalow in Versova in 2020, recently gave a tour of the house, which is named after his father, Nawab.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who rose to fame with the two-part gangster movie Gangs of Wasseypur, among others, has recreated his childhood home in Mumbai. Nawaz grew up in the town of Budhana, in Uttar Pradesh. Located at Yari Road, Versova, Nawazuddin’s plush bungalow has seven rooms and two huge dining rooms. Nawaz, who said that he designed large parts of the house himself, gave a detailed tour of his home, which is named after his father, Nawab.
In a video shared by Pinkvilla, he started with a tour of his living room, which is dominated by whites and browns, and has wooden paneling on the walls. The hall has been decorated with several posters of scenes from popular plays and characters such as Hamlet and Othello. These are characters that Nawaz has played on stage in the past.

Nawaz also revealed that he has set up the bar himself. The actor recalled how, despite a lot of his friends advising him to hire an interior designer, he was adamant about doing it on his own. He took the inspiration from the National School of Drama while designing the hallway. He said, “The corridor in NSD looked similar, holding posters.”
Next, Nawaz showed off his personal theatre. The room had a huge smart TV and luxury sofas. The theatre room then opens to a balcony, where the actor said he loves having conversations about films.

The actor also highlighted the importance of open spaces, and said that it affects his headspace. He gave a tour of his terrace, which is adorned with greenery. This is where the actor often discusses work and films with his friends.

Nawaz then showed off his in-house makeup room, a cozy corner with a touch of wooden detailing. It has a huge mirror with lights on the edges. His house also has a personal gym. But Nawaz picked the smallest room in the house for himself. “I chose the smallest room, so that I stay grounded,” he said. The actor keeps a few of his favourite books in his room, which is decorate with posters of Konstantin Stanislavski, who introduced the concept of method acting.

Nawaz tried to recreate the pillars, arches, and railings of his childhood home in Budhana. He also tried to replicate the same flooring. For Nawaz, the best thing about his house is that it is secluded, quiet, and surrounded by greenery.
