Celeb stylist Tanya Ghavri was quiet young when she started her career. One of her initial clients included Bollywood star Sridevi. After all these years, Tanya is now styling her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Speaking about how life comes full circle and everything Sridevi taught her in her initial days, Tanya pointed out that her daughters are a lot like her when it comes to style.

Speaking on the YouTube talk show, Lets Talk With DevnaG, Tanya recalled, “I would style Sridevi when Janhvi and Khushi were kids. They would be like, ‘Mumma, don’t wear this, wear that’. They were adorable. And now I am styling both of them. Life has come full circle.”

When asked who gives her the most input when working, she quickly responded, “I think Khushi among the younger girls.” She explained, “Because she is so young, she is also someone who has got very unique style. She has got a little bit of her mom’s ‘attention to detail’, she is very fashion forward in terms of thinking. She is very interested in her looks. She is young of course, and she has just started so she is very interested in putting her look together–her nails, hair and makeup, bag, jewellery. She is interested in every single element. She looks into all of it.”

Speaking about Sridevi’s first-born, Tanya shared, “Janhvi is somebody who is constantly thinking and she loves to create things. When I used to work with her, we used to be very creative. We would create things from scratch and not wear things that are already available. She always be like, ‘let’s create something.'”

She added, “I think she is a lot like her mom. Her mom was like that. From Sridevi, I learnt elegance. She was the epitome of elegance. I was very young when I started working with her. She would teach me that ‘Let’s not overdo the look… like pull one thing out, let’s do one statement jewellery instead of doing three things. I learnt that from her.”
