Sonam, Hrithik at their best in Honey Singh’s rendition of Aashiqui’s ‘Dheere Dheere’

‘Dheere Dheere’ doesn’t follow Honey Singh’s usual musical style, but is instead romantic and slow with its fair deal of mush. Set in Turkey, the video features both Hrithik and Sonam looking their beautiful made-up selves.

While Hrithik plays a dapper looking corporate guy, Sonam is the ever-fashionable party planner who in fact makes the first move, unlike the original wherein the heroine Anu Aggarwal plays the shy and coy ‘Anu’.

Inspite of Honey Singh’s sincere efforts to stay true to the original track, we definitely favour the 1990’s ‘Dheere Dheere’ version, especially because of the sheer simplicity of the melody and emotions it captured then and never fails to stir even today.

But, there’s a treat in the new version of the ‘Aashiqui’ song – Hrithik Roshan’s fabulous dance steps. The actor took to Twitter to share the new video.
