Sonakshi Sinha to learn martial arts for her first ever action role

Bollywood’s ‘Dabangg’ girl Sonakshi Sinha, who recently gave a hit in ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’, will be getting some martial arts training for her first action-packed role in A R Murugadoss’ next.

The ‘Ghajini’ director, who plans to make a woman-oriented action film, will make Shotgun Junior do some hardcore action sequences for which she needs to master the art.

Sonakshi will have to undergo a 30-day workshop before she starts shooting for the action flick.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to break the news.
“Update: Sonakshi Sinha to learn hardcore action/martial arts for AR Murugadoss/Fox Star film. Will undergo 30-day workshop before shooting,” he posted.

Sonakshi Sinha will seen playing the lead role in the action-oriented drama revolves around her character. The actress plays a college student in this film and most of her action scenes will be based on the Indian martial arts tradition from Kerala.

The director said Sonakshi’s role will be on the lines of what Angelina Jolie did in ‘Lara Croft’.
