Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani love their vacations and in a recent interview, Sidharth opened up about some of the favourite activities that the couple likes to indulge in during their vacation time. Sidharth and Kiara like to explore some exotic locales and Sidharth shared that they always to participate in local activities and try the local food when they are in a new place. In a chat with Vogue India, Sidharth said that he likes to ask for tips from the hotel concierge when he is trying to explore a new place. "I rely on the hotel concierge to try and see how Kiara and I can explore some local activities, see the cultural spots and try local food," he said. The actor mentioned another activity he enjoys with Kiara and said that they try to wake up early so they can have the breakfast buffet. "It has become a tradition for us to get to a breakfast buffet early and enjoy breakfast together," and said that Kiara is a fan of a good breakfast buffet. In the same chat, Sidharth mentioned that his favourite type of holiday is the kind that includes beaches. "If I had to pick a year-round favourite, it would definitely be just relaxing at the beach," he said and added, "I find a lot of peace underwater, whether it's scuba diving or snorkelling." During an appearance on Koffee with Karan, Kiara recalled that Sidharth proposed to her in Rome. She shared, "He planned the works. He had done this candlelight dinner. We go back after dinner, and he takes me up for a walk. We go up and suddenly the violinist comes out of the bushes playing and sweetly his little nephew is taking our video from behind the bushes. He then goes on one knee and proposes. I was not expecting it that night so I was so overwhelmed, I didn’t say anything." She recalled that after he proposed, Sidharth was so nervous that he started saying his dialogues from Shershah. "After his whole speech, he doesn’t know what to say to me and he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He’s like ‘Dilli ka seedha sada launda hun’, and what he said to me in the movie, the full dialogue of Shershaah. Then I burst out laughing," she said.
