Shruti Haasan will next be seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’.

A Murugadoss, who is known for movies like ‘Ghajini’ starring Aamir Khan and ‘Holiday’ starring Akshay Kumar, will be working with the ‘Bang Bang’ star Hrithik Roshan. The movie is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.

Reportedly, Shruti Haasan, who will next be seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’, has been approached to play Hrithik’s love interest in the movie.

According to a report published in DNA, “Hrithik has been keen to collaborate with the South director as he now wants to do more action/adventure subjects. The same has been conveyed to Murugadoss and he has been developing a script for the actor. No leading lady had been finalised but Shruti has been approached for the role. Shruti shares a great equation with the filmmaker and wants her in the project. Currently, the logistics are being worked out.”

The official announcement, however, is expected to be made in the next month.
