Shraddha Kapoor turns singer

She ruled the hearts of many as Arohi in ‘Aashiqui 2’ but now Shraddha Kapoor is all set to turn singer in real life too. The actress will be debuting as a singer in ‘Ek Villain’.

Apparently, a song titled ‘Galiyan’ was recorded along with singer Ankit Tiwari of ‘Aashiqui 2’ fame recently at a suburban studio in Mumbai. While this is Shraddha’s first stint at singing, many of her seniors and contemporaries have sung for their films including Alia Bhatt who sang ‘Sooha Sooha’ in ‘Highway’.

Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, ‘Ek Villain’ is directed by Mohit Suri and also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. The film is slated to release on June 27.
