Archana Puran Singh, who is a part of Kapil Sharma's Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show, recently shared how Shakti Kapoor offered his help when Archana was trying to buy a flat back in the day. In the vlog, Shakti teases Archana by saying that she has already bought three bungalows and is now negotiating the fourth one. "Nazar na laga tu (don't jinx it)," Archana playfully responded as Shakti said, "Meri nazar aapko lag hi nahi sakti (I can't jinx it for you)." After this exchange, Archana recalled the time when Shakti offered to loan her Rs 50,000 when she was trying to buy a flat. "I can never forget. When I wanted to buy a flat, he offered me Rs 50,000 and said that if you need it, I can loan you this much. And at that time, Rs 50,000 was a big deal," she shared. Since Shakti had established his monopoly over villain's roles in the 1990s, he did not want to get replaced. So he decided to pay Rs 50,000 to the actor and promised to cast him as a hero. "There was this other actor about to debut as a major villain. Shakti got worried. He sent Rs 50,000 to the actor, asking him not to take up villain roles because he was casting him as a hero. The actor took the Rs 50,000 and stayed home for two years," Chunky recalled. Shakti did not authenticate this story that was shared in jest and responded, "This is a lie. He's a liar." Shakti Kapoor does not appear in many movies now. He was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal.
