Shaitaan box office collection Day 4: Ajay Devgn, Jyotika movie crosses the Rs 60 crore mark
Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika in the lead roles, managed to earn Rs 7.81 crore on Monday.

Director Vikas Bahl’s supernatural thriller Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, and Jyotika in the lead roles, was released last Friday and did good business on its opening day, earning Rs 15.21 crore in India. However, after witnessing a spike on its second and third days — Rs 19.18 crore on Saturday and Rs 20.74 crore on Sunday—the box office collection saw a dip on Monday, the fourth day since the film was released in theatres.
According to the makers, the movie managed to earn Rs 7.18 crore in India. The total domestic earnings of Shaitaan is 62.94 crore.
On day four, the overall Hindi occupancy was 14.96%, with 9.55% for morning shows, 13.33% for afternoon shows, 14.70% for evening shows, and 22.26% for night shows.
Overseas, Shaitaan has earned Rs.15.26 crore (USD 1.86 million) over the first weekend, taking its worldwide weekend gross collection to Rs. 80.31 crore (USD 9.80 million). This marks Ajay Devgn’s second highest overseas opening.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the box office figures of Shaitaan on Tuesday. “After scoring an excellent total in its opening weekend, #Shaitaan posts a strong number on the make-or-break Day 4 [Mon]… Fri 15.21 cr, Sat 19.18 cr, Sun 20.74 cr, Mon 7.81 cr. Total: ₹ 62.94 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice #Shaitaan is eyeing ₹ 82 cr [or thereabouts] total in *Week 1*.”
He added, “The holy month of #Ramadan has commenced, which will impact the biz of *all* films, since a chunk of movie-going audience stays away from cinemas.”
Shaitaan is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. The supernatural drama is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash and tells the story of a family held hostage at their home by a man with supernatural powers.
