There has been festival-like atmosphere across India ever since the men's cricket team emerged victorious at the T20 Cricket World Cup on June 29, 2024. After the historic win, the team returned to Mumbai on July 4, where they received a jubilant welcome from fans who gathered in thousands to congratulate them. To make the celebrations all the more memorable, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) organised a grand felicitation ceremony at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The celebrations began with an open-bus trophy tour that started from Marine Drive. Photos and videos of the celebrations are widely being circulated online. The grand victory parade drew enthusiastic responses from several Bollywood personalities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Angad Bedi, Ananya Panday, and Sanjana Sanghi, among others. They expressed their happiness and pride on their respective social media handles. Taking to his X handle, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "Seeing the boys so happy and emotional fills my heart with pride….
