Jawan actor Sangay Tsheltrim says Shah Rukh Khan thanked him for accepting the role, Vijay Sethupathi gave acting suggestions to SRK

Sangay Tsheltrim said that as soon as Shah Rukh Khan saw him on the set for the first time, he hugged him and thanked him for accepting a role in Jawan.

Bhutanese actor Sangay Tsheltrim is celebrating the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, where he plays a significant role. Sangay appears in the film to solve a pivotal plot point after appearing in the train hostage sequence. In a recent interview, Sangay shared that he was approached by Mukesh Chhabra’s casting company for a role in the film but he initially declined it because of scheduling problems. However, when an assistant director called him up with the details of his role, Sangay jumped on board.

Speaking about Shah Rukh Khan’s action scenes in the film the actor told ETimes that the Jawan star has a lot of experience and “for his age, he is very good with it.” He also mentioned that he was a fan of SRK’s acting. Recalling his first meeting with Shah Rukh, Sangay said that the actor shook his hand and hugged him as soon as he saw him for the first time. He also thanked Sangay for accepting the role. Sangay said that this “really touched my heart.”

He mentioned that SRK was a good learner on set as he recounted the time when Vijay Sethupathi would make some suggestions in SRK’s performance and he would incorporate them happily. He added that the best quality of Shah Rukh was that he teaches others what he knows best but he is also a keen learner who is always ready to learn from those who know more than him about a certain field.

Sangay started his film career in Bhutan in 2018 which became a popular actioner. He was previously seen in Salman Khan starrer Radhe.

Jawan, in the meanwhile, has become the highest opener at the Indian box office. The Atlee directorial has made Rs 75 crore on its opening day and it appears as though it will be unstoppable at the box office for the next few days.
