Shah Rukh Khan had just gotten married to Gauri Khan when he was shooting for his and Juhi Chawla’s film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. In fact, the actor, after tying the knot in Delhi, went to Darjeeling to shoot for a song for the film. Gauri accompanied him on the trip and thus, Darjeeling became their honeymoon spot. Recently, actor Viveck Vaswani shared a photo from SRK and Gauri’s honeymoon in Darjeeling on Twitter.

Viveck shared on Twitter, “Honeymoon in Darjeeling while the first song of RajuBanGayaGentleman was being filmed. We went to Delhi, he got married and we went straight to Darjeeling to shoot… with the bride!!

Many of his followers remembered Viveck’s character of Lovechand Kukreja in the comment section and others identified the song as ‘Dil Hai Mera Deewana’ from the film, which was shot in Darjeeling. Many followers also complimented Shah Rukh’s idea of romance. A follower wrote, “One of the many reasons he is THE KING of ROMANCE …reel or real ..no one does it better than him”, while another one wrote, “Wow.. beautiful film … What a story…. Gauri Ma’am should have made a blink-and-miss appearance in that song…”

Previously, the film’s writer Manoj Lalwani told Bollywood Hungama, “Yes. Shah Rukh Khan got married in Delhi. Then, he had his honeymoon in Darjeeling. We also accompanied Shah Rukh and Gauri as we had to shoot his intro scene in the film. I still remember the whole crew had travelled in train in second class. It was a difficult, 36-hour journey. I was lucky as Aziz bhai (director Aziz Mirza) asked me to join him, Shah Rukh and Gauri on the flight.”

Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Atless’s Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
