Shah Rukh Khan took a five year-hiatus from movies after 2018 but 2023 will always be remembered by SRK fans as a year when King Khan made a comeback and how! Through these years, Shah Rukh Khan worked on three films – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki – which have all released this year and SRK is yet to announce his next film. Now, the star has dropped a hint about his next film and shared that he will start shooting for it by March-April.

In a chat with Raya Abirached, Shah Rukh shared that he will be taking up a role that is “more age real” to him but he will still be the star of the film. When asked about his next film, he said, “I think I will start one in March-April now. Like I have been attempting now to do a film which is more age real to me and play it still as the protagonist and the star of the film.”

Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t given any interviews in almost a year and has solely interacted with his fans via social media and events. Even though SRK has had many releases this year, he has stayed away from promoting his films via interviews, which is a common promotional strategy.

During the chat, when he was asked about what drew him to Dunki, the actor said, “To be honest, what draws you to a Rajkumar Hirani film is Rajkumar Hirani and it’s a very heartfelt film.”

It has been rumoured that SRK might be starring in a film with his daughter Suhana soon. Suhana recently made her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies and is yet to announce her next film.

Shah Rukh’s Dunki hasn’t had a very impressive start at the box office. Even though Pathaan and Jawan collectively grossed Rs 2000 crore worldwide, Dunki’s start does not look very promising. The film could only manage to earn Rs 30 crore nett domestic on its first day.
