Shalini Passi became a fan favourite soon after she debuted in the third season of Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. The Delhi diva was all over the internet for her unique lifestyle and personality. Before the show, Shalini was majorly known as a socialite and art curator, as well as a close family friend of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Even in the Netflix show, Shalini was seen attending Gauri’s party. Now, in a new interview, Shalini Passi has shared details about her bond with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Shalini’s husband, Sanjay Passi, and Shah Rukh Khan were school friends.

She told Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, “Sanjay grew up with them and he is extremely good with relationships, whereas I am sort of floating. I am very moody. He is great at keeping in touch with people, whereas I am not. I am there for you 100%, but also moody about it.”

However, with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, it is different. She added, “They are very solid people from Delhi, who have made it big in Bombay. But, they have stayed in touch with all their friends which is quiet incredible. Gauri has given strength to me. I got married when I was very young and she is someone who always spoke her mind. This was a big thing for me. I know she is coming from good place, I knew I could trust them. What they give me, I knew was 100% genuine.”

In the same interview, Shalini also shared that how she dedicates a certain hours of her daily life to help strangers who reach out to her. Sharing an example, Shalini said, “I have now dedicated a couple of hours of my day to it because they are not just complimenting my looks and hair, but they are expressing themselves to me. They update me about their lives, what they have started lately or how they have made up with the people they once bitched about. So now, in the dedicated time, I reply to them. I just sent an audio to someone this morning.”

She also played an audio message that she received from someone, and said, “So this person texted me about herself. She lives in London and is suffering from severe acidity. She asked me how could she deal with it naturally. I sent her an audio and advised her to have saunf (fennel) after her meal, if not saunf then saunf water. I cannot ignore people when they reach me for help, even if they are strangers.”
