Ramayan’s ‘Lakshman’ Ravie Dubey, wife Sargun Mehta lease luxury apartment in Bandra West; to pay Rs 11 lakh rent per month

Actors Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who had a humble beginning as struggling actors, have today become one of the most notable producers in the Punjabi film industry. With a reported net worth of Rs 150 crores, Ravie and Sargun recently relocated to Bandra West. Earlier, it was reported that the couple has bought a flat in the luxurious Freeda One residential tower. Now, FreePressJournal has reported that the couple has leased an entire floor in the tower for five years.

According to the media publication, the lease agreement spans 60 months (five years) and includes a hefty security deposit of Rs 80 lakh. Sargun and Ravie will reportedly pay a monthly rent of Rs 11 lakh for the first year. The rent will increase with each passing year with the couple paying Rs 11.55 lakh in the second year, Rs 12.12 lakh in the third year, Rs 12.73 lakh in the fourth year, and Rs 13.37 lakh in the fifth year, respectively.

The locality is home to several Bollywood actors. With Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey relocating to Freed One, they have become neighbours to Indian cricketer KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty and veteran actor Jackie Shroff.

After appearing on television shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Phulwa, Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, and Nach Baliye 5, Sargun Mehta marked her film debut with 2015 Punjabi film Angrej. Now, she is among the highest paid actress in the Punjabi film industry, who reportedly charges Rs 2 crore per film. In 2021, she marked her debut as a producer along with her husband Ravie Dubey under the banner Dreamiyata Dramaa.

Ravie and Sargun met on the sets of 12/24 Karol Bagh in 2009. In 2012, they took part in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 where Ravie proposed to her for marriage. In 2013, the couple tied the knot. They have now ventured into Punjabi cinema, television, and digital content. In 2023, they also entered the music industry with Dreamiyata Music, through which they launched their now-viral song Ve Haaniyaan.

On the work front, Sargun recently appeared in the Punjabi film Saunkan Saunkanay 2. Meanwhile, Ravie Dubey will be seen playing the role of Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological drama, Ramayana, with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
