Sara Ali Khan, who recently suffered a burn injury on her abdomen, chose not to hide it on the Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2024 runway.

Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan stole the show at the recently held Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2024, not just with her stunning looks, but also for her confidence in embracing her individuality. Walking the runway as the showstopper for designer Varun Chakkilam, Sara proudly showed burn marks on her midriff, which has garnered her a lot of praise, with fans cheering her on for not hiding it.

Clad in a dazzling silver embellished lehenga and a bralette from Varun’s collection, Sara looked elegant and confident. A video captured her walk where the burn marks were visible. Fans applauded her for ditching makeup to hide or cover them.

After the official handle of Lakme Fashion Week posted a video of the actor confidently sashaying down the ramp, social media users started appreciating the Kedarnath actor for choosing to be “real” and wearing her scars like a “badge of honour”. “She recently had a mishap and suffered burns on the right side on her stomach. Must say, she is super strong n showing up for her professional callings (sic)” wrote a fan. “She’s flaunting her burning scars so gracefully,” commented another user.
Sharing excitement about the runway experience, Sara told ANI. “It was all fun, but I was also nervous. On the ramp, it was all exciting and felt great.”

Sara Ali Khan, who was last seen in the Netflix film Murder Mubarak and is busy promoting her upcoming project Ae Watan Mere Watan, had earlier taken to her social media handle to share with her fans that she had suffered a nasty burn on her stomach albeit in a humorous way. “Welcome to Sara ka Sara Radio, Aaj ki taaza khabbar I got burnt, Kya Kare lesson is learned, What can we say- bad bad luck, But kamsekam it’s not Murder Mubarak, Murder Mubarak out on 15th March. only on @netflix_in, Ae Watan Mere Watan out on 21st March only on @primevideoin (sic),” Sara had written.
