Sam Bahadur box office collection day 19: Vicky Kaushal film remains steady as it prepares to brave Dunki
Sam Bahadur box office collection day 19: Vicky Kaushal starrer has earned Rs 79 crore in India.

When one Vicky Kaushal film leaves cinemas, another one with his cameo will take over– and that doesn’t happen everytime. Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is racing against time to keep its collections steady at the box office before its showcasing is reduced with the big Christmas release, Dunki, which also features him.
On its third Tuesday, Sam Bahadur showed steady collections collecting an estimating Rs 1.50 cr as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The figures are in the same range as that of Monday, with just a minor dip, which was expected. The total of the Meghna Gulzar directorial now stands at Rs 79.70 cr.
Sam Bahadur’s collections have come despite mixed reviews and a clash at the box office with Animal, which saw a monstrous run at the box office emerging as one of the biggest hits of all time. Sam Bahadur will comfortably cross Rs 80 crore domestically on Wednesday and just be 8 crore short of the record set by Vicky’s hit of the year, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
The showcasing of Sam Bahadur will now be considerably reduced, as Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki hits cinemas on December 21, Thursday. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial also stars Vicky Kaushal, along with Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani among others.
A day after Dunki, Prabhas’ actioner Salaar will hit cinemas and the two new releases are likely to dominate the Christmas extended weekend. Sam Bahadur would hope to end its run with collections in the north of Rs 85 cr, lodging another hit of the year for Vicky Kaushal.
