‘Salman Khan threw me at a glass wall, my face was slashed; he left without apologising,’ recalls Chori Chori Chupke Chupke co-star
Salman Khan's co-star Adi Irani said that he was bleeding from the face when Salman threw him at a glass wall.

Salman Khan is known for being an impulsive man who follows his heart, but in a recent interview, his Chori Chori Chupke Chupke co-star Adi Irani recalled that Salman once threw him at a glass wall, and left without apologising after he started bleeding. Adi recalled that a day after the accident happened, Salman called him to his room and apologised because he was feeling guilty.
Adi shared with Filmymantra Media, “While doing Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, he threw me at a glass frame. Glass pieces were stuck in my face, there was blood all over ne. It was terrible.” Adi was playing the role of Salman’s friend in the film. He is best remembered for playing Vicky Malhotra in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Baazigar. Adi said that he was severely injured, and if he had refused to shoot at that point, it would have resulted in losses for the producer.
“I supported the producer and asked for a doctor who could give me a painkiller or an injection, and I suggested that we put a white tape on my wound after stopping the bleeding, and put some make up on that so it matches the skin colour,” he said, and added, “I said, ‘You do it for one shot. Then take a shot where my head hits a vase and after that, if my head bleeds in the rest of the scene, it will look like it has gotten hit in the scene’. Producer was very happy and we continued.”
When asked how Salman reacted to this accident, Adi said that he just went to his room. “After I got hit, he left the set. He went and sat in his room,” he said, and when asked if Salman offered an apology, Adi said, “No sorry. Nothing.” Preity Zinta, who was also on set that day, immediately rushed to him out of concern. Adi said that he completed the sequence in this state and the next day, Salman called him to his room.
“The next day, Salman called me and he said ‘Adi, I am really sorry. I am feeling so bad. I couldn’t even look in your eyes. I was feeling so bad.’ I said ‘Salman, it’s okay, it happens’. He spoke very nicely to me. He felt very bad. There are some people who can apologise immediately. Some people can’t say sorry but they are feeling sorry so he is one of those who cannot say sorry,” he said.
Salman will next be seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar.
