There is fault in our stars and Salman Khan seems to be thinking about it. In a throwback video surfaced on the internet, the superstar talks about his relationships and gives an insight into why they never worked out. Salman says, the blame is on him.

The actor, whose dating life had been a news cycle dominator once upon a time, especially from the 90s till the end of 2000s, said the realisation that he has somewhere gone wrong came in with time, and only when he saw a lot of his relationships failing.

In a video posted on Reddit, Salman seems to be answering a question about why he is still unmarried and how he looks back at the relationships he has had, as the superstar begins by answering, “The fault is in me.”

“Because when the first one goes, you think it was her fault, when the second one walks out of the relationship, you think it was her fault, when the third one does the same, you think the fault was in her but by the fourth time, you start to doubt and wonder, ‘Ki fault unmein hai ya mujh mein?’ (Is the fault in them or me?) Maybe it’s my fear, that I can’t give them that life or happiness (that they deserve),” he added.

Salman has been in several relationships, including with actors. His unmarried status has also been a constant point of speculation as well jokes, with the superstar on many occasions himself making light of it.

Earlier this year, when he appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Kapil asked him who he has give the right to call him “jaan”. Salman replied, “Don’t give this right to anyone because they start by calling you ‘jaan’ and then they take your life. It all starts with, ‘I am so lucky to be with you.’ After that comes, ‘I Love You.’ But after some time, when she realises that the guy has fallen for her, she destroys your life.”

The actor continued, “Jaan ek bada hi incomplete word hai, actually poora sentence shayad ye hoga, ‘jaan le lungi teri uske baad kisi aur ko jaan banaungi, uski bhi jaan lungi (Jaan is an incomplete word. It must be a complete sentence which goes, ‘I will take your life, then will make someone else my life, and take his life as well).”

On the work front, the actor is gearing up for the release of his next, Tiger 3, which is scheduled to release on Diwali. Salman will hope to return to form with the spy universe film, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, after going through a phase of box office lull. His last film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed to get the expected response from the audience.
