Salma Khan dances with Helen at her birthday bash; Salman Khan calls her ‘mother India’. Watch

Salman Khan shared a heartwarming video from his mother Salma Khan's birthday celebration, featuring her dancing with Sohail Khan.

Salman Khan’s mother Salma Khan celebrated her 83rd birthday on Monday with a joyous family gathering filled with love, laughter, and dance. The Dabangg actor shared a heartwarming video from the celebration, showcasing Salma dancing with her son Sohail Khan. Salma, the first wife of legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, was also seen sharing a delightful moment on the dance floor with veteran actor Helen, Salim Khan’s second wife.

In the video shared by Salman, Sohail holds Salma’s hands and playfully encourages her to dance to a peppy tune. Smiling and laughing, Sohail says, “I will match her steps.” After the dance, Sohail hugged his mother, turning it into an emotional moment. Dressed in a floral suit, Salma looked radiant, while Sohail kept it casual in a full-sleeve T-shirt, jeans, and a cap.

Sharing the clip, Salman Khan expressed his love for his mother with the caption, “Mummmmmyyyyy happy birthday… mother India, our world.” He tagged his siblings Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and Arpita Khan in the post. The celebration was held at Arpita Khan’s newly launched restaurant in Mumbai.

Fitness coach Deanne Panday, a close family friend who attended Salma Khan’s birthday party, also shared glimpses of the celebration on social media. One video showed Salma dancing with Helen, as the guests cheered them on with enthusiasm. Another clip captured the cake-cutting ceremony, where Salma was seen blowing out candles on a large birthday cake, assisted by her daughters, Arpita and Alvira.

Salma Khan and Salim Khan’s relationship dates back to their marriage in 1964. Together, they have four children—Salman, Sohail, Arbaaz, and Alvira. In 1981, Salim Khan married Helen. The couple, however, does not have children of their own.
