Legendary screenwriter Salim Khan recently opened up about the relationship between his two wives – Salma Khan and Helen.

In an interview with DNA, Salim praised both of them and said, “I’m lucky that I have two wives and that they live in harmony. Never mind if that happened a few years later. My wives are good-looking and now they are aging gracefully.”

In an earlier interview with Zoom, Salim Khan revealed how his first wife Salma had issues with his relationship with Helen. He had said, “When I told her, she didn’t shake hands with me and tell me what a wonderful thing I was doing. Of course, we had problems, but for a very short time. After that, everything was accepted.”

The screenwriter added, “I told my children, ‘I have got another person in my life. I have married her. I do not expect anything from you. I don’t expect you to love her as much as you love your mother, but I want you to give her the same respect.”

In one of the episodes of Angry Young Men, Arbaaz Khan had shared, “My mother never influenced us to think or say anything against our father. She had her troubles, but she never influenced us to think, ‘Your dad is like this,’ or, ‘This is what he is doing.’ Never.”
