Among the many celebrities, actor Sanjay Dutt visited Saif Ali Khan at the Lilavati hospital on Thursday post his surgery. The actor was brutally attacked with a knife at his Bandra residence.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor visited Kareena Kapoor at her residence in Bandra. The couple had earlier visited Saif at the Lilavati hospital where he underwent a surgery after the brutal attack.

Saba, who is currently not in Mumbai, shared a note on her Instagram Stories. "I am in shock and reeling from this insane incident. But proud of you Bhaijaan. Taking care of the family and standing tall would make Abba so proud. I am. Get well soon. missing being there. Will see you soon. Duas and prayers always."

R Madhavan took to his Instagram handle to wish speedy recovery to his dear friend Saif Ali Khan. "Horrified and numb... Wishing my dear friend and a super nice guy a speedy recovery to peak health. May the accused get his due quickly."

The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri took to his X handle to react to attack on Saif Ali Khan. He wrote, "OMG. Shocked. Dear Saif, praying for your speedy recovery."

Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram stories and posted, "Get well soon Saif."

Imtiaz Ali Khan also posted a photo of Saif Ali Khan on his Instagram story and called him his "brave brother." He also tagged Kareena Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Celina Jaitly shared a family photo of the Pataudi family and wrote, "#saifalikhan | Deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif Ali Khan in his own home. I have no words for the bravery of this man, who was stabbed six times while trying to protect his family. Such acts of violence are unacceptable and disturbing, especially in a place that should be a sanctuary. Saif Ali Khan's debut film Aashiq Aawara's co-star Mamta Kulkarni posted a video, reacting to the incident. The former actor shared, "I was really saddened to learn about Saif's condition. I am really concerned regarding the security in the city. Why would they take the lives of their employers so lightly? Are they not being paid properly? I would like it if we all treat our security people with love, so that they give importance to the lives of their employers. This incident is not only limited to Saif, but such cases are taking place in various places like Gujarat, Mumbai, and Rajkot. The security people fall asleep and the robbers manage to enter the building. So, we need to tighten our security. I am deeply concerned about Saif and I will pray to the all-mighty that he regains his health quickly."

Actor Sonu Sood posted on X, "Saddened to hear about the unfortunate attack on Saif Ali Khan. My thoughts and prayers are with him for a swift recovery and a full return to health. Stay strong, brother. #SaifAliKhan."

A source told SCREEN, "A theft incident occurred at Saif Ali Khan's residence around 2 am. The thief entered the house and reached the maid's room, where the maid started screaming. Saif came out of his room after hearing the maid's voice and tried to catch the thief. However, the thief attacked Saif and escaped. After Saif got injured, Kunal Kemmu and Ibrahim Ali Khan were informed about the incident. According to sources, Ibrahim reached the building in just a few minutes in an auto-rickshaw. He then took Saif to the hospital in the same auto. Kunal and other staff members followed in a car."

Saif Ali Khan's sister Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Kemmu have arrived at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.

Kareena Kapoor Khan spotted at Lilavati Hospital this afternoon. She soon left after meeting Saif. Her husband and actor Saif Ali Khan is admitted in this hospital after an attack by an intruder in his Bandra home.

Saif Ali Khan's doctor confirms a successful surgery following the knife attack.

Ranbir Kapoor spotted at Lilavati Hospital visiting Saif Ali Khan, who is recuperating after surgery.

Actor and Kareena Kapoor Khan's sister Karisma Kapoor has left Lilavati Hospital after checking in on Saif Ali Khan.

A senior police officer has confirmed to The Indian Express that at the time of the incident, there were six people at the Khan household – Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, their two sons, Taimur Ali Khan, Jeh Ali Khan, and two female domestic helps.

Former actor and host Simi Garewal posted on her X account, "Am horrified to hear of the attack on #SaifAliKhan. Its really shocking! My heart goes out to him & his family for the trauma they've suffered. Praying for Saif's full recovery ?."

Karishma Tanna, who stays near Saif-Kareena's house, told TOI, "It’s a crazy scene outside as I am talking to you… there are a lot of cops and media downstairs. The whole incident is a wakeup call for a lot of stand along buildings in Bandra. I have been telling everybody in my cooperative housing society for over a year or even more to increase the security. The watchmen I feel need to be properly trained. They are not reliable in case of such incidents. If a burglar barges in your building, the watchmen are not trained enough to tackle the situation. How will a family handle such a situation? It’s very scary."

BJP MP and actor Manoj Tiwari told ANI, "I came to know that some thief attacked him and because of this he got injured. First of all, I pray to God that he gets well soon. He is a very good artist of our country... I will talk to Kareena. I am already in touch with the family."

Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, took to X to share, "It’s very concerning to hear about the attack on noted actor Saif Ali Khan. I pray for his speedy recovery, trusting that the law will take its course and those responsible will be held accountable. My thoughts and prayers are with Sharmila Di, Kareena Kapoor, and the entire family during this difficult time."

Ameesha Patel, who worked with Saif Ali Khan in Race, told New18, "I was shocked to hear this horrible news. From what I hear, he’s out of danger, which is so good. My prayers and wishes are with Kareena and the entire family. Saif’s a wonderful human being, and I pray he bounces back soon. I have full faith in our Mumbai police, and I’m sure they will go into the depth of this matter and do the needful that’s needed to be done after this horrible incident."

Dixit Gedam, DCP Zone 9 of Mumbai Police, told the media, "Investigation is underway. I can't disclose the details." He is a part of the team investigating an attack on actor Saif Ali Khan.

"Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital.  Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time," read the official statement from Team Saif Ali Khan.

Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan was seen visiting her dad in the Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. She was joined by brother Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Karisma Kapoor shared a photo on Instagram, indicating that Kareena Kapoor wasn't at home before the robbery attempt took place. Karisma, Kareena, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor had a girls night out.

Director Imtiaz Ali, who worked with Saif Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal and with Kareena Kapoor Khan on Jab We Met, told News18, "It is shocking to hear about the incident with Saif. At this point, the first things that are coming to my mind are that his injuries are not severe and that he’s going to recover soon."

Actor, politicain Ravi Kishan told PTI in an interview, "It’s sad. He is my friend and fellow artist… Mumbai Police is investigating and the thief will be caught. I pray for his recovery."

The source shared with The Indian Express, "The safety wall at the back entrance of the building is not that high and has one watchman. Police suspect he entered from there."

'The accused first entered the maid quarters at the back of the house and had an argument with them. The accused was overpowered and locked in the children’s room but he managed to flee from there,' shared a source.

Crime branch officials told The Indian Express that the accused was not seen in CCTV cameras on the lift or the main lobby so they suspect the accused climbed 12 floors through the shaft.

Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and a house help rushed Saif Ali Khan to the hospital after the actor suffered injuries during a burglary attempt at his house. Soures shared that Saif was brought to the Lilavati Hospital at around 3.30 am.

As per sources, "The family, including wife Kareena and kids Taimur and Jeh were also home. It is said that he took on the burglar headon to protect his family."

Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital told SCREEN, "Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unidentified person at his Bandra home and was brought in  at 330 am. Saif has six stabs and two are deep. Of this one is close to spine. He is being operated upon by team of doctors led Neurosurgeon dr Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr Leena Jain, anaesthetiologist Dr  Nisha Gandhi."

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal posted on X, "Shocked to hear about the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Wishing him a speedy recovery and strength to his family during this difficult time."

Team Kareena Kapoor Khan shared in a statement, "There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in the hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine.
