Raveena Tandon reveals daughter Rasha lectures her every time she gets pre-release jitters: ‘Are you 18 or 81?’

Even after spending two decades in the Hindi film industry, Raveena Tandon still gets pre-release jitters, but it’s her daughter, Rasha, who offers her advice and helps calm her nerves. In a recent interview, Raveena opened up about her relationship with her daughter and praised Gen Z for their awareness and exposure.

As a mother of four, including two adopted daughters, Raveena discussed her admiration for Rasha’s resilience and strength. Speaking about Rasha’s maturity, the actor told Hindustan Times, “I have jitters before my releases and guess who lectures me. My husband tells Rasha, ‘Are you 18 or 81?’. Gen Z is more aware and exposed. They are AI (artificial intelligence) themselves!”

Recently, Raveena featured in the revenge web series Karmma Calling, portraying the character of glamorous 90s queen, Indrani Kothari. The series revolves around her character’s life taking a drastic turn when a mysterious woman named Karma (Namrata Sheth) enters the picture. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Raveena was praised for her sincere performance in the thriller series.

Karmma Calling marks Raveena’s second project in the digital space after the 2021 Netflix show Aranyak, where she portrayed a determined police officer, unravelling the truth behind a missing foreign teenage tourist.

Upcoming projects for Raveena include Ghudchadi, opposite Sanjay Dutt. The film is directed by Binoy Gandhi. She also has multi-starrer, Welcome to the Jungle in the pipeline. It’s the third installment of the Welcome franchise and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Sayaji Shinde, Mukesh Tiwari, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma and Vrihi Kodvara.
