The Jio World Plaza opening on Tuesday turned out to be a grand affair as the who’s who of Bollywood arrived at the red carpet. Many celebrity designers also put up their showcase at the event with the biggest stars wearing them. From Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty, Vijay Varma and Tamannah Bhatia to Athiya Shetty, Suniel Shetty, Shehnaaz Gill and Arjun Kapoor graced the ramp at the starry night.

Ranveer Singh, in his inimitable style, walked in with full energy as guests cheered him on. He wore a black blazer with a black dhoti, flaunting his Simmba moustache and dark glares. The actor later took centre stage as he spoke to them. While he touched matriarch Kokilaben Ambani’s feet, he complimented ‘bhabhi’ Nita Ambani with the now viral dialogue, ‘So beautiful, so elegant. Just looking like a waow. Just looking like a waow’. His statement left Nita and Mukesh Ambani in splits as the crowd applauded for him. As fans would remember, Deepika Padukone had also attempted the viral trend recently (WATCH HERE)

On the other hand, Vijay Varma and Tamannah Bhatia turned into a lovestruck couple on the ramp. As part of the act, they entered the stage separately and then a mime artist brought them together. They also made the heart sign with their hands which left the audience cheering for them.

While Athiya Shetty has always impressed with her ramp style, this time it was father Suniel Shetty who stole the show. The father-daughter duo entered the stage together in Anamika Khanna-designed outfits. While Suniel wore a denim on denim suit, his daughter was dressed in a multicoloured printed power suit that she paired with a bralette.

While Bollywood beauties Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone did not walk the ramp, they made heads turn with their stylish avatars. Deepika stepped out in her classic LV look while Alia wore a black Gaurav Gupta off shoulder gown. Bebo opted for a glittere co-ord set. Shraddha Kapoor was also part of the event and she mesmerised the audience with her melodious voice. Katrina Kaif also walked on the red carpet wearing a black and pink floral outfit, while Madhuri Dixit stole the limelight in her silver shimmery suit.

The Jio World Plaza will bring together the biggest of brands under the same roof. It will also offer personalised shopping assistance, VIP concierge, multiplex theatre, among other luxuries.
