Rajkummar Rao opens up about plastic surgery rumours: ‘I just smile’

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who was recently seen in the film Bheed, opened up about the rumours which alleged that the actor underwent a plastic surgery. Reacting to the speculations, the actor said that he gets a smile on his face every time he reads or listens to such rumours.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Rajkummar was asked if he has done plastic surgery. The actor said, “Nahi bhaiyya, koi plastic surgery nahi hue (No, there was no plastic surgery).” When asked his reaction to such rumours, Rajkummar said, “Kuch nahi smile aati hai chehre pe. Nice, log baat kar rahe hai (Nothing, I just smile. People are speaking).”

Earlier, the actor had opened up about facing rejections in the industry due to his looks. Rajkummar had said in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, “Of course I was told so many things. You are not tall enough, your built is not right, your eyebrows are not in a certain shape and very weird things. And I was like what, what about acting? That’s the thing which will take you forward and nothing else. Eventually, the talent stays and nothing else remains.”

Rajkummar’s latest film Bheed was released in theatres today. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Dia Mirza among others.
