‘PK’ director Rajkummar Hirani has now started working on his next project, which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt.

‘PK’ director Rajkummar Hirani has now started working on his next project, which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt’s role will be played by none other than Ranbir Kapoor in the film.

Raju Hirani had been in USA recently with Abhijat Joshi writing the script of the biopic. This is the first time that the director is indulging in making a biopic. Though Hirani has known Sanjay Dutt for years, but it is difficult to depict the same on big screen.

Ranbir Kapoor, who has been seen in hit movies like ‘Barfi’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, thinks it is hard to act in biopics. Ranbir had said: “Biopics are hard because you have to celebrate such a giant man’s life on screen… I would really look forward to getting Sanjay Dutt alive on screen.”

Rajkumar Hirani is extremely excited about this project.
