The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives star recalls her childhood days and shares, “We have had the best time with him as kids. Actually, one of mine and Ranbir’s best childhood memories is spending our weekend with both our grandparents (Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor) at the Chembur house. Every weekend, both my brother and I used to go there, and even take our friends for sleepovers sometimes. They used to be overjoyed to have us and all the other kids.”
She further adds, “He used to cook on his own. My grandfather used to prepare our favourite dishes, I loved the macaroni and cheese, it was our staple. It was in his style, unka hi tadka tha. There was a secret ingredient, I am sure. They used to make it with so much love. I can literally taste the flavour even today, it was yummy.”

While Riddhima loved the mac & cheese, the Animal actor used to attack on his most-liked dish, butter chicken. “His butter chicken was Ranbir’s favourite. The combinations were very weird, like butter chicken with noodles, or fried rice, or actually anything. As kids, you really don’t care, you are just loving it. My grandmother also used to prepare a dish called Chinese aloo. It was fried aloo, similar to an aloo tikki, but prepared in a Chinese style. We all used to love having that as well,” she elaborates.
The internet personality and businesswoman also reveals that she and Ranbir used to go out with their grandparents every weekend – “Every Sunday, he used to take us to a place called Big Splash in Vashi. Then, we used to go to his favourite South Indian restaurant Udupi. He used to enjoy the idli and dosa there. A very simpler time, but so much fun!”
