In an interview with Vogue at the MET Gala, Nick and Priyanka were asked about what their daughter was doing when they stepped out for their “big night out as Mom and Dad.” While talking to host Emily Chamberlain, the singer said, “It is different for sure. Our daughter was around as we were getting ready, and we would be checking in throughout the night. We are just having fun.”

The actor added during the conversation, that she might have allowed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas to watch a movie while they are out. “I had to tell her that she can watch a movie today because we are (out),” she said. Priyanka also shared that they generally don’t let her watch movies on weekdays, because movie night is on the weekends.

For the MET Gala’s theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Priyanka Chopra opted for a polka dot Balmain gown with power shoulders. She paired it with a hat and a Bulgari necklace. On the other hand, Nick Jonas went for a Bianca Saunders’ design, blouse and a scarf. He completed his look with a high-waisted belt which had two brooches from Tiffany & Co. Besides Priyanka, other Indian celebs who attended the 2025 Met Gala were Shah Rukh Khan, Manish Malhotra, Diljit Dosanjh, Isha Ambani and Kiara Advani.
