Priyanka Chopra extends warm wishes to cousin Mannara Chopra for Bigg Boss 17, shares old photo: ‘Good luck little one’

Mannara Chopra, who has predominantly worked in South films, is Priyanka’s paternal cousin. Mannara’s mother, Kamini Chopra Handa, is the sister of Priyanka’s father. Mannara had also attended Priyanka and Nick Jonas’ wedding in 2018 in Jodhpur.

Before entering Bigg Boss 17, Mannara spoke to indianexpress.com and said that the reality show will be an adventure for her. Mannara’s real name is Barbie Handa, she decided to enter the film industry using her mother’s maiden name. When asked why she has dropped the Chopra surname on social media, Mannara said, “I have always used ‘meMannara’ as my username on all my social media platforms ever since my first film released. It’s nothing new nor an understatement.”

Mannara Chopra shared that she hadn’t told anyone in the family, including her cousins about her doing the show. She also did not want to open up about the recent controversy when her Thiragabadara Saami director allegedly kissed her forcibly. The actor stated that she has already clarified about it.
