Parineeti Chopra says she googled Raghav Chadha’s marital status after first meeting: ‘Thankfully, he was single’

Parineeti Chopra opened up about her love story with Raghav Chadha and recalled what happened when they first met in London.

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with politician Raghav Chadha in 2023. At a recent event, Parineeti opened up about her first meeting with Raghav and said she knew she was going to marry him just after that meeting.

During a conversation at the ICC Young Leaders Forum, Parineeti said that she met Raghav for the first time in London, where they were being felicitated with awards. She said, “We met for breakfast early morning, on Republic Day I remember. I sat with him for maybe half an hour and I just knew. I was like ‘this is the man I am going to marry.’ And I had no information about him. I didn’t know how old he was, I didn’t know whether he was married or not, because I never followed politics.”

The actor continued, “So I didn’t know personal details about him. So I literally went back to my hotel room and I started googling him like ‘Raghav Chadha age, Is Raghav Chadha married.’ Because in my head I literally felt like ‘this was my guy, this was the man I have been waiting for.’ Thankfully he was single and thankfully everything checked out and we started talking.”

Parineeti and Raghav had a dreamy fairy-tale wedding in Udaipur which was attended by family and close friends. Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra missed the event. However, her mother Madhu Chopra blessed the couple and attended the wedding functions. On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in the film Mission Raniganj opposite Akshay Kumar.
